P&C Association


 

The Albany Primary School’s P&C generally meets twice a term with the aim of supporting our school. All parents and citizens are warmly invited and welcome to attend. The P&C support our school by fundraising, providing resources or assisting with additional support around the school. Details of meetings, events and activities coordinated by the P&C are outlined in the school newsletter and generally promoted on the school Facebook page. You can also follow the P&C on Facebook to keep up with their latest activities.

Functions of the P&C

 

The main functions of the P&C Association are to:

  • Give parents an opportunity to learn about school policies and programs

  • Provide a voice for parents and students by maintaining positive relationships between the school community and school administration

  • Bring parents together to share information and views

  • Organise social events to build a strong sense of community

  • Raise funds and provide additional resources & experiences for the benefit of the students

  • Operate the school uniform shop
